Creative uses of a Uhaul box truck: Hop harvesting

So I came across an episode of Harvesting hops on the Discovery Channel the other day. It was amazing to see that one of our very own Uhaul box trucks were used during this 35 day harvesting season. The men who worked the hop farm worked 24 hours straight so production was constantly growing. The truck was a 1987 Ford which had it’s box removed and a custom built box put on the chassis. It seem to be a huge part of the catch and transport of the hop plants to the processing plant. So it looks like we can definitely say a Uhaul box truck can serve very interesting purposes… one being a dirty job: Hop Harvesting ! Here’s a link to see the details on hop harvesting with a Uhaul box truck. I believe the hop harvesting video is on discoverychannel.com/dirtyjobs.
